SEARCH Program Inventory
The SEARCH online community supports the SEARCH Network and can be used at the office, at home, or wherever you access the Internet. It is powered and supported by the Centre for Health Evidence.
The SEARCH online community consists of the SEARCH Desktop and ViviWeb, which are secure online environments, accessible only members of the SEARCH community. If you have been given an account (username and password), you may begin using the SEARCH Desktop and ViviWeb by following the instructions below.
SEARCH Desktop
- Click on Install in the above menu to:
- Read the Copyright and Disclaimer statement.
- Read the Security, Privacy and Confidentiality statement.
- Confirm that your computer meets the minimum technical requirements.
- Download the program.
- Once you have installed the Desktop, review the SEARCH Desktop QuickStart Guide to help you log in and get started.
- SEARCH Desktop is best used when you are searching the literature and need integration between resources.
SEARCH ViviWeb
- Review the Using ViviWeb tutorial to help you get started.
- Open http://www.viviweb.com/search
- Enter your username and password.
- SEARCH ViviWeb is best used when you want quick access to the resources without any installation or if you are using a MacIntosh computer.
